So You Received Your First Bad Review?

Published by Ronald Parisi on May 11, 2021

When you are a business owner, you have to be prepared for a dissatisfied customer. You can sell the best product or provide the finest service, but you will still have someone who does not like it. So what do you do now that you have received your first bad review?

It starts with reflecting on your product or service. Do you stand behind the service you are providing? Are you selling a valuable product? A customer’s dislike for your product is not always a reflection of your product, but often their lack of success. When it comes to learning and growing, you only get out of something what you put into it. In nearly every instance where a client of ours has received a bad review, it has been due to the customer’s lack of contribution.  Simply, you cannot do the work for your customers!

Constructive criticism and improvement are important, but a bad review is not the end of your business. If you are confident in your product and back it fully, then keep moving forward. Make improvements to your product as you need BUT never give up.
