4 Ways to Thrive through Financial Uncertainty

Published by Ronald Parisi on March 31, 2023

As a business owner, these uncertain times bring you to think about challenges you’re already facing– from sluggish sales, bank failures and missed business opportunities. And all these just because you want to see how everything will play out as we start to see some economic instability.

So I want to share with you just 4 ways to help you thrive through financial uncertainty, which even great entrepreneurs like Rockefeller have proven to be true.

  1. Look for Opportunities and Be Agile- be aware of your core strengths so that when sudden changes like bank failures, financial uncertainty and innovations like Chat GPT bring about opportunities, then you as an entrepreneur will be able to make use of your strengths & skill sets to your advantage.
  2. Be a Leader to your team- recognize & understand that your team members are also going through the same uncertainty as you so make them feel that you are with them in this journey.
  3. Build and Maintain key relationships- utilize what you have built with your customers, vendors and other partners to strengthen your relationship with them
  4. Have a Plan- this is the biggest thing because when things shift very quickly, it’s very important to have these Plans A, B & C, as this is what sets you apart from your competitors,  and so you can react immediately.

As an entrepreneur, knowing our strengths and having a great relationship with our partners will help us to react quickly in these truly uncertain times.

These 4 items are also the same things that we at CPA on Fire cover during monthly and quarterly reviews with our clients, which I hope will also guide you on what to make sure are in place as we navigate through challenges in our businesses.
